Russian Jews
We recently joined with Rabbi Sholom Blank, from Miami Beach, FL to enhance his ongoing programs with the elderly Russian Jewish residents, who are in need of food packages and spiritual guidance. Contact Rabbi Faivish Dalfin to arrange for a personal visit to people in need. Every Friday morning we host a Torah class with refreshments and interaction with a gr oup of elderly residents at Renaissance Gardens in N. Miami Beach, FL.
Simcha Connection
Simcha Connection is HACHESED’s Florida monthly food distribution program. It provides needy
individuals with food and money v ouchers. Some of these recipients include newly arrived immigrants from South America.
Senior Citizen Homes Visitation
Rabbi Dalfin visits Miami nursing and convalescent homes. He brings happiness and joyful entertainment to broken hearts. During the holiday period, he distributes – free of cha rge – holiday food items, like honey cake before Rosh HaShana, Suf-ganiot (d oughnuts) during Chanukah and hand baked Matza before Pesach. This includes the senior citizens of Claridge House in North Miami, FL, including a blind man who is seeking companionship and friendship. At HACHESED we actually take y ou to the individuals and institutions benefiting from y our donations.
