Rabbi Faivish Mordechai Dalfin was born and raised in Brooklyn, N. Y. He graduated from the  Chabad Rabbinical College of Montreal Canada in 1997.

Rabbi Dalfin was the assistant rabbi of the Shul of Bal Harbor, FL. From 1990 until 2003 and was the exclusive Rabbi and director of the Shul of downtown Miami from 1990 until 2003.

In 2003 he founded the Simcha Connection organization to promote joy and happiness to people in dire straits. In 2004 he established Ohr Menachem Chabad, of North Bay Village, FL.

He has been very involved in raising funds for food packages, for the needy, in several locations in Israel and Miami.

In 2007 Rabbi Dalfin launched a campaign to assist 140 widows and orphans in israel.

He has written a book, Time and Transcendence, concerning the mystical correlation of the twelve Hebrew months and the twelve tribes of Israel, providing a novel approach to comprehending the deeper mesage of the Jewish calendar.

Rabbi Dalfin lives in North Bay Village, FL with his wife, Chaya Sara and their six children.
